A Wonderful Experience

Monday night at the Center Playhouse in the heart of Freehold meant rehearsals and preparation for the cast and crew of Photo of It's A Wonderful Life castthe upcoming play It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play.  The play is a live radio adaptation of the film of the same name that is set in the 1940’s and is slated to open Thursday Dec.15.

There is a sense of closeness amongst everyone in the theater that is immediately recognizable once you are there. The mood is very family oriented, and despite the feeling of urgency and excitement, all the actors seem to remain very organized and composed, even joking with one another.

The preparation that the actors and actresses invest into the production would give any nearby onlookers a much better appreciation of how hard they work, and how much it means to them. Everyone gives 110 percent in all of there rehearsal performances, really showing how much pride they take in their craft.

It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play opens this week (Dec.15,16,17,18,) and by the looks of things behind the scenes, the finished product is going to be a “Wonderful” experience for anyone looking to get some of that warm holiday cheer just before Christmas.
